In addition to Cynthia’s duties as an Event Manager for RMC Events, she also has the responsibility of overseeing the entire scheduling process of all Richmond based staff members. “All Successful Events have several things in common”, says Monroe. “They have teams of highly skilled, motivated and energetic staff working together in an effort to make the guest’s visit as enjoyable and safe as possible”.

Cynthia L. Monroe is one of RMC Events’ Event Managers and has been in event management for over 30 years. She has been a member of the RMC family since its development in 1999 and continues to be a leader in the office and at our event sites.
Cynthia’s event related responsibilities include events and festivals in and around the downtown Richmond area including, but not limited to: Easter on Parade, Friday Cheers and all events on Brown’s Island, 2nd Street Festival, the Richmond Folk Festival, the Monument 10k, the Richmond Marathon, Virginia State University Athletics, and the annual Christmas Parade.
