After bouncing around from Indiana, South Carolina, Washington State, and Oregon, Dave joined the U.S. Army as a Still Photographer Specialist, which took him to Colorado and then to Washington DC where he spent most of his career. While in Colorado, Dave was selected to support the President and Vice Present as a member of the White House Communication Agency as a White House Photographer, where he worked closely with President Reagan and Vice President Bush to document their activities for the National Archives. After leaving the military, Dave joined Raytheon as part of their System Engineering team at the junior level and rose to Consulting/Principal position over his 28-year career. Retirement in March of 2013 from Raytheon did not last long, when shortly after he found a part time job with RMC Events working primarily in John Paul Jones Arena and Scott Stadium.

Dave resides in Madison, Virginia, with his wife of over 40 years ago and has one son and two daughters. His son is the Sports Information Director for Randolph-Macon College, one daughter teaches second grade in the local area and the other is married to a crew chief on KC-135 Stratotanker at McConnel AFB in Wichita, Kansas.

Director - Western External Services

Dave joined RMC Events in June of 2013 as an Event Staff member in Charlottesville, after working a career as an NCO in the US Army (Signal Corps) and after separating from the miliary working for one of the largest defense contractors in the world. Dave currently serves as Director of Western External Programs, also known as Western External Security Services or the Ambassador Program. Dave manages more than a 100 Security Officers supporting the University of Virginia Police Department, as well as the surrounding UVA community areas.
