Cortney Jensen
Admin Assistant - External Programs

Cortney joined the RMC family in August 2016 beginning on the Ambassador side of External Services as an Ambassador supporting our UVA student and community population in the Charlottesville region. Cortney quickly moved up to a leadership position running Command for our Ambassador program and then becoming Staff Lead and Dispatch for the Safe Ride program. After excelling in those positions, Cortney once again took on a new roll and leadership position in August 2018 as the Administrative Assistant - External Security Programs, where she supports the Executive Director - External Programs, to include our VCU program, Ambassador Program and our P&T program.
Before Cortney joined RMC, she was at CHO Airport working on the ramp, loading and unloading aircraft for American Airlines, providing customer service at the ticketing and boarding gates. Prior to living in Virginia, Cortney resided in 5 different states which include Utah, California, Washington State, Nebraska and Virginia as she was growing up. She graduated from LDS Business College with an Administrative Assistance Certificate in 2009 and in 2015 obtained from PVCC a Patient Care Coordinator Certificate. In 2015, Cortney served a service mission in Omaha, Nebraska (GO Cornhuskers!) for 18 months for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Cortney enjoys spending time with her family and when she can, traveling to see her 6 nieces in Utah and Iowa or going to the shooting range. She loves college football! (Navy, Nebraska, BYU and is a season ticket holder for UVA football. Most Fall weekends you will find Cortney either at a UVA football game or glued to the TV watching her other three favorite teams
