RJ Clark
Director - Special Projects

R. J. has worked alongside RMC at numerous events since its inception while he worked with the Henrico County Police. In 2016, R. J. came on board as a DCJS Certified Instructor to help train and recertify members of the RMC family. In order to learn more about the tasks he was teaching, R. J. worked at events and was a part of the Special Operations Group from the beginning. After retiring and continuing to assist as needed, R. J. was brought on full-time as a Special Projects Director.
Born in Connecticut and raised in Vermont, R. J. has lived in RVA since 1994 and is a Veteran of the USAF, served 20 years with the Henrico County Police, and six years as the Chief of Police at the Richmond International Airport. He is a graduate of the University of Richmond and obtained his master’s degree from VCU. He attended the 122nd Session of the Southern Police Institute at the University of Louisville, the Disney leadership training program, and has a great working relationship with numerous public safety agencies and officials in the Commonwealth and beyond.
